so... pretty much i love my life! i have amazing friends that make everything better no matter how bad things are, i'm visiting arizona in less than two weeks!, and i meet someone new all the time and i love it!

first of all, it's SUMMER!! i LOVE summer! and its not flipping hot here like arizona.. haha

second, i'm 17!! one year closer to being an adult!!!.... wierd...

so i decided that since it's been so long since i've been on here and i get on facebook way more often so i'll just look at my status' and write about them! and then write about other stuff that happened in between... good idea?! we'll see how it works..

March 21--it snowed the second week of spring... IT NEVER ENDED!! snow is fun for like a month... maybs two.. but not THREE or more!

March 20-- Emily Yoshikowa, Marie and Katies friend that used to live here and moved to colorado a while ago came and visited and i got to meet her and we had soo much fun! who knew people could be so comfortable around each other within meeting each other that week.. haha she is so sweet and fun! we (emily, katie, and i) went to crossgates mall with kathy (katies mom) one night and played in the apple store for a while, chilled with the hotties, took a picture with a ginormous easter egg, got recliner massages, and found Katie an arab (or something) husband... all in all i think i could say that we all had a GREAT time while she was here and it felt like we've known each other forever. (:

--i went to the st. pattys day stake dance with katie, marie, and emily! so much fun!

-- i missed playing cops and robbers in arizona so i tred explaining the game to katie one night and tried to draw out how it worked and stuff and this is how it turned out...

--that same night katie and i tried to order some pizza and she made me call... this is what happened

pizza guy: papa johns. what can i get for you today?

me: umm.. can i just get a medium cheese pizzza?

pizza guy: yeah will that be all?

me: yupp!

pizza guy: ok whats the name on this order?

me: sydney

pizza guy: sandy?

me: no. sydney

pizza guy: lindsey?

me: no. just do katie.

pizza guy: ok. whats your number?

me: (gave him my number..)

pizza guy: ok whats your address?

me: (my house number) halfmoon dr.. (blah blah blah)

pizza guy: capstroon dr?

me: no. halfmoon. like the moon up in the sky.. half of it.

pizza guy: ok. i'm just trying to take your order so if youre gonna have an attitude...

me: HUNG UP!! AHH!!

hahahaha and that was the last time i ever ordered a pizza.. and we didnt even get the pizza...

--later that week, emily is still here by the way, we all spent the day together with brady then later that day we all had another sleepover at katies and before that me and katie went to a movie with tyler and jake! that was fun considering we got there halfway through the movie and we were so hyper we kept talking and probably annoyed the rest of the theatre.. haha so then after that we went back to katies we changed and put some crazy socks on. nbd. and took a bunch of pictures and talked for like an hour and a half... it was mighty fun!

--March 31st me and katie went on a little adventure in my backyard (because it's all woods) and found some cool trees, and a little bit of "dessert" aka dry dirt in upstate new york!

-- beginning of April we had a ycl girls camp meeting then sleepover at the Mairs house (SO MUCH FUN! i love my girls jen and jiossie!) then the next morning was the stake basketball tournement. jen, jossie, and i like glitter so we put glitter on our eyes and walked around the stake center singing the line "got that glitter on my eyes" from kesha's song "you're love is my drug" we looked AWESOME!!

--April 3rd is when we planned my trip to arizona and california! lauren, my best friend in arizona is awesome and for her birthday she is taking me to california for a week and we are staying in a disney hotel and going to disneyland and california adventures for a few days and then we're driving all around cali and going to hollywood and different beaches and everything! i am so excited not only to go to all of those places and to do all of these fun things but to do it all with my bestfriend Lauren Nicole McPeak! we have had so many fun times and it was crazy hard to move to new york but she, along with many others, made me feel so much better about moving across the country and re-assured me that it'll be fun meeting all new people and see new things and new places and go on so many more adventures!

--April 4th. we are preparing for the HUGE priest/laurel conference, (our stake invited a bunch of other stakes to it too, even a stake from Brooklyn) which i was on the commitee for, in 5 days and our excitement grew everyday! theme of the conference was "step by step" and the main focus was that we go through life step by step and as teenagers, ages 16-19, we are going through major "steps" in our lives now, such as starting to date, driving, missions, preparing for college, thinking about the kind of person you want to be with for eternity, and so on and so forth.. then after a long day of signing in, opening speaker, classes on dating, mission prep, college prep, etc, a game of life size life, then... the dance! the funnest part! the theme of the dance after the conference was "neon nights" ( i thought of it..nbd.) we had black lights, glow sticks, awesome music, and a project that the all wonderful katie halped me do that took several hours we cut out the theme "step by step priest/laurel conference 2011" each letter on a poster board then covered them in glue and glitter-ized them to hang on the wall for the conf.! it looked SO COOL! hard work pays off! and the dance was awesome and of course at the dance me, marie and katie danced to willow smiths "whip your hair" and whipped our hair everytime the song sait to whip your hair and killed our necks for a couple days.. but... we looked awesome doing it so.. whatevs...(;

--April 6th. my mom tried to dye my hair all blonde and it turned ORANGE.. yeah.. THREE days before this huge priest/laurel conference.. i cried.. so that next day i stayed home from school and went to get my hair fixed.. the first girl just made it worse, i left the place went and got in the car and i cried because it looked so bad.. then we had to go back and get it fixed again.. 6 hours in the salon, 4 different hair colorings later i was happy again. and i had blonde hair again for the conference!

--April 10th.. facebook status: "note to self: next time you decide to whip your hair back and forth................don't."

--April 12th marie left for France for wayy too long and it made me sad and seminary in the morning was boring...

--April 19th. we went bowling for mutual. joint. so it was all of the youth! so fun! the best thing to do when you go bowling is make up fun names to put on the screen and thats exactly what we did! and we also took cute pictures with the bowling ball! nbd. (:

--April 23rd our ward youth, the Glenville ward, took a temple trip to the Palmyra temple we did baptisms and it was so neat! and soo pretty! but such a long drive to the temple, when i'm used to the Mesa temple being only 20ish minutes away... but it was fun to drive there with katies family and listen to motab the whole way! thanks Patrick! hahah

--May 10th. the world will never be the same. rebecca blacks song "friday" has been redone by GLEE!! it was amazing!!

--May 14th. Mom and i took a trip to downtown Albany to go look at a furniture store and on the way a few streets away from the desired destination my mom saw a salvage furniture store.. so me (already sketched out by the lifeless part on albany on a saturday afternoon) and my mom went to the alvage shop and the owner was.. SKETCHY! there was a girl in the back polisging some freaky dolls or something listening to a little radio playing phantom of the opera sounding music but it WASNT phantom of the opera.. CREEPY RIGHT?! so now i'm afraid of albany.. the end. haha

--May 20th was the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake prom. yeah. on a friday. wierd right?? anyway... me and alyssa went home with katie after school and had 2 hours to get her ready for prom! i curled her hair while alyssa painted her toe nails and did her finger nails while katie did her makeup... CRAZYYY!! but! she looked awesome and so did craig(her date) and also marie and brady in their group! they all looked amazing and i heard they had a great time! LOVE YOU GUYS!

--May 21st. I GOT MY PLANE TICKET TO ARIZONA FOR JULY 19th!!!

--May 26th all of my friends in arizona graduated!! congrats Lauren and Marco!! and many others! love you! and i'm soo sorry i couldnt be there!

--June 4th. shens JUNIOR PROM!! i went with josh who turned 16 at midnight the night of prom! haha his birthday is june 5th! it was so much fun! we got my dress online from a store in Ohio and got in the wednesday before prom. it came strapless and my mom sewed on the sleeves and it looked so good! thanks mom and dad for paying for it! (; love you! haha and thanks to josh for making it fun!

--june 7th katie put this funny video on my facebook and i thought it was hilarious! i love ke$ha! sorry for the profanity...

--June 10th was josh and kristas birthday party at their house! it was so fun! we went swimming, played volleyball, jumped on the trampoline, danced, made a fire in the firepit, and did fireworks! happy birthday josh and krista! love ya!

--June 11th was seminary graduation and a dance after and it was super fun! before it katie and i went and got her a watch that matches mine but pink and we finally got our biffles rings! then we went to the dance and had so much fun! i love being with the stake youth! they are awesome and so much fun! too bad everyone lives too far away...

--June 13th was my last day of classes but then i had to go back at the scheduled times for regents (AIMS for new york) and finals that werent in class finals.. boo.. but i was just glad to be done because i had been in school since the beginning of august having switched schoold in the middle of the school year...

--June 17th was Kaitys grad party and Maries senior voice recital! so Austen, Brady and I all went to kaitys grad party then we went to maries recital which was amazing! she has a wonderful voice and is so adorable! i love her! shes just great at everything! then after the recital went back to kaitys grad party for the dance party! and josh hooked up his speakers and bass and it was so fun!

--June 21st we had a car wash for mutual with all of the youth which turned into a watter fight. obviously. and before mutual marie, katie and i all went camp shopping and got matching sunglasses! well marie got hers in france so me and katie just got ones to match hers! anyway.. mutual was so fun and we all got soaking wet while we were doing service and washing peoples cars!

--June 27th through July 1st was girls camp and my birthday!!

i turned 17! and my amazing new york best friends are awesome and decorated my bunk in happy birthday stuff and got everyone (that we like) happy birthday hats and got my a balloon and teal hair stuff and it was an awesome birthday! i also shot my first gun! more deets on that week later! p.s. i love katie, marie, jen, angie, jossie and quincey!!

--July 3rd i learned how to use skype! haha and skyped with bestfriend laurenn for over an hour!!

--July 4th the fam went to the breakfast thing at the church in the morning and then went to the Whalens for dinner then we went to the commons for the fireworks and carnival! i hung out with josh, braden, and krista olsen the whole time and had so much fun! we went on that ride where you stnd around in a caged circle and spin really fast and then while spinning it tilts! so crazy and i felt like i was going to throw up afterwards. too much spinning.. haha then we all got snowcones! while eating our patriotic cones of snow we walked to the other side of the park to the ampitheatre to listen to my dads kind of music mixed with jazz... that was kind of odd for all of us so we decided to go to the woodpark (i didnt know what that was either but when we got over there it made sence, its a huge jungle gym of wood...) to watch the fireworks! we got over there and found a nice spot with a perfect view but not for long! haha this random guy that wasn't wearing a shirt clinbed up to the top of the "tower" thing and sat on the tip (which to me didn't look too comfortable..) and did like a salute kind of thing to the fireworks.. i don't know.. we were all laughing and he was in our way of the fireworks and it was just awk... so we moved and then we decided we better head back to the gang back at the park soccer fields. by the end of the night i had so much fun! these are those summer nights i'll never forget! singing and playing guitar by the river, doing fireworks off of a dock, "star gazing", hearing wierd animal noises and trying to figure out what it is by google searching animal noises (it was an emu), and getting almost 100 bug bites all in one night! these are the memories i'll have when i'm older of when i was a teenager and i cant wait to see what other ones i will have made in the near future.
